April 22

One of the 5 senses I value the most is sight. Sight is very important to me because personally I don't want to be in a world that I can't see. Another thing is that I love being able to see the people I love and new things. This is why sight is one of the 5 senses i value most.

Prompt:  Easter Sunday was yesterday, a holiday full of traditions for many people. What holiday do you look forward to the most each year, and why is it your favorite? Share what you usually do to celebrate it and what makes it meaningful or fun for you My favorite holiday is Halloween because its a fun day dressing up and going out with friends. What I usually do that day is get a costume last minute and paint my face so it really helps bring out my creativity after that I just go meet up with friends and have fun. This day is meaningful and fun to me because I get to spend it with the people I love being with.

What I did over Spring Break

Saturday the first day of Spring Break I went to New York City Manhattan and stayed at a hotel named The Palace Hotel with my family. When I got there I went walking around and visited Times Square after that I went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner at a restaurant we had reserved and after we went back to the hotel and called it a night. The next day my family and I had breakfast at the hotel which was really beautiful when we all got done we went for a walk to central park and while there I was able to go on a horse carriage with my cousins and aunt. Later that day we went to Brooklyn to visit my moms uncle and his wife with them that night we went on a boat that went around the city which was beautiful to see when dark. The next day we went on the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty up close and after we all went shopping at stores and as well as the next day. The last thing I did was go to the Summit which was fun and the next day on Wednesday was my last day there an l...

Today’s article discussed how more people are choosing to live in the suburbs rather than in the city. When you become an adult, which lifestyle do you think you would prefer—city life or suburban life?

When I become an adult I would like to live in the cities. Cities to me are the best option because there are many job opportunities and there are also many nearby stores I can walk to which makes it easier to get around without always traveling in a car. Also cities have many types of public transportation to help get around. Another thing is cities have nearby hospitals fire departments and other things incase of emergencies.

Based on the two informational passages that you've read thus far this week, write about how you will personally strive to avoid student loan debt?

What I will do to avoid student loan debt is look into schools whos acceptance rate isn't high but has a high graduation rate. I will also research about the school and how much the tuition is. Also I can apply for scholarships to help me out instead of taking out a loan since if I do take out a loan and cant pay it back I know its going to keep adding up.

What is your American Dream? What do you like most about America?

My American dream is to be able to get into a good technical school or college, get a great job with great pay, and support my parents and family so I can provide them with a better future and life then what they've always worked and tried to give me. with hard work and dedication I know I can achieve this goal. What I like most about America is the diversity and the different cultures. This helps me learn more about people beliefs,  culture and their language.

January 9

If I were President of the United States five things I would do is. first I would improve healthcare access to make it more affordable so that everyone can get medical help they need. Second I would invest in education by increasing funding for schools to make sure every child gets a good education. Third I would shorten the time in schools because children shouldn't have to stress so much for 8 hours and 7 different classes. Fourth I would support job creation by promoting to create jobs and boost small businesses. Lastly I would promote equality by working on laws that create equal rights and opportunities for everyone, regardless of race, gender, or background history.
